Fire Chief Jim Brink losco County Fighters Association Fundraiser Event: The purpose of this fundraiser is to organize a community event benefiting the losco County Firefighters. All of the proceeds from this event will be going towards equipment actively used by the Association, especially the system called Active 911. It is used to supplement the fire department paging system in losco County. When there is a call, the address and type of emergency is sent out over fire department pagers. Sometimes information is limited, or in some cases the firefighter may be in a bad reception area and no call is received. With Active 911, the call also comes across their phones, with complete information and mapping for the call. It is a robust back-up for the paging system. There is no cost to the individual firefighter because it is paid for by the losco County Firefighters Association! losco County Fighters Association Closest-to-the-Pin Fundraiser Event Location: August 22nd, 2026. 4:00pm - 8:00pm Bogey's Indoor Golf - 106 W. Westover Street, East Tawas, Michigan, 48730 Event Details: Possibly having a Local Fire Fighter get behind the bar with our bartender and make some drinks/engage with the customers. Possible speciality drink menu can be made! Suggested Possible Pricing: - $2 for 1 swing $5 for 5 swings Possible Prizes for Winners! Conclusion: The losco County Fighters Association Closest-to-the-Pin Fundraiser presents an exciting opportunity to bring the community together in support of the department through fun, interactive, and a memorable event. The combination of friendly competition, firefighter participation, and community involvement would help create a successful fundraiser. We appreciate your consideration of this proposal and look forward to discussing the event further with the department. ... See MoreSee Less
