The Grant Township Zoning Administrator is responsible for administering and enforcing the township’s zoning ordinance to ensure that land use and development align with the community’s goals and regulations.
The Zoning Administrator oversees the permitting process, reviews development proposals, and assists with matters requiring action from the Planning Commission or Zoning Board of Appeals. Responsibilities include conducting property inspections, issuing zoning permits, reviewing the zoning ordinance, working on special projects as assigned, and helping residents understand the requirements for various land uses.
Please remember you must obtain Zoning Permits for any type or size building you plan on putting on your property, regardless of what it is for.
