MONTH OF APRIL 2026

1. The new truck is at the painters.
2. The first set of SCBA tanks are back and the second set is out for hydrostatic
   testing.
3. Fire Calls for the Month of April: 6 Fire Calls for the month.
   a. Gas Leak – 3453 Bay Rd
   b. Power line Down – 1700 Louks St
   c. Outside Fire – 4622 Shady Lane, Wilber Township
   d. Outside Fire – 3959 M-55
   e. Arcing Power Line – 3959 M-55
   f. Structure Fire – 2396 Indian Lake Rd., Wilber Township
4. We are applying for the Michigan Fire Equipment Grant, it is up to
   $50,000.00.
5. The Forest Service has been doing Prescribed Burns, so if you see a lot of
   smoke it is possibly the Forest Service.
6. New/Old trainee. Jeff Caputo is back on the Fire Department. He has
   moved back to the area.
7. Truck #8 radio is still out for repairs.
